LatinX Heritage Month
Join us as Spartanburg County Public Libraries celebrates LatinX Heritage Month also known as Hispanic Heritage Month. The origin of the national celebration began as Hispanic Heritage Week back in 1968 and was later expanded to a month-long celebration in 1988. National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year from September 15th through October 15th.

Remembering 9/11
September 11
On September 11, 2001 the nation experienced the loss of 2,983 people in coordinated attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash of United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. For those that were old enough to remember this day, it has been forever etched in our memories. Join SCPL as we remember this tragic day and reflect on how it has impacted our world today.
